Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is a comprehensive training program designed for healthcare professionals to manage and respond effectively to severe cardiovascular emergencies such as cardiac arrest, myocardial infarction, stroke, and arrhythmias. It builds on Basic Life Support (BLS) principles and emphasizes advanced interventions including airway management, ECG interpretation, recognition of cardiac rhythms, defibrillation, and pharmacologic therapy. ACLS also highlights the importance of teamwork, communication, and post-cardiac arrest care to improve patient outcomes and survival rates. This course equips participants with the skills and confidence needed to lead and coordinate resuscitation efforts in hospital and pre-hospital settings.
